Tool to separate Bendix from inertia starter

PostPost by: Will5000 » Sat Apr 20, 2019 11:52 am

Hi

Can anyone recommend a suitable pair of clamps to help compress the bendix to get the clip out and disassemble? I need to remove the mounting plate.

Thanks

Will

I bought one like this many years ago. Easy to use, recommended.

There seem to be all sorts available.

Thanks guys !

That tool looks perfect- I didn?t know such a thing existed... will hunt around.

Sadly I?m in Oxfordshire, so bit of a journey to Manchester... but thanks very much for the offer!
