Rubber Seal at lower end of Front Upright

In a current post about clutch slave cylinder rubber seals, Leslie mentions deterioration with time.
I am undergoing a restoration that has taken more time than I like to confess to.
My original idea was to get the wheels and suspension overhauled and back on the new chassis so that I could move the car around. Part of this work involved changing the oil/grease seals on the front uprights as one was damaged. Before my restoration was complete these seals had cracked, I changed them again, this time with one new and the other the old one I had removed previously. Last year I noticed the new one had failed again. I have decided to not replace it until the car is ready to roll.
Has anyone had a similar problem and can recommend a good seal supplier?
