Steering Column Bushes

A wobbly wheel is caused by two things. The first is worn out rubber bushes in the column. Replacement bushes are easily obtainable. I did this job recently and it made a huge difference. Use dish wash detergent to install the bushes

A job for the winter on late +2S 130 The top steering column bush now very slack so my question is, where are these bushes easily obtainable from as anyone that I have asked so far hasn't needed to replace theirs.
I emailed SM but no response and PM has gone of course.

I bought some column bushes a few months ago from Sue Miller who usually has them in stock.
I always order parts over the phone from Sue. That is the quickest way.

Thank you for replies appreciated.
Will Rimmers know what improved part to send to me as I doubt they will if I say it is for a Lotus. I don't want to be adding to my collection of 'incorrectly ordered' parts that I can't get a refund on.

I did mine on the bench. I don't know if others have successfully done it, but IMHO doing the top bush with the column still in the car invites risk of damage to the column, unless you're lucky and the new bush slides in very easily.

With the column out you can change top and bottom bushes, and for peace of mind perhaps also the column U/J.

I thought it would be as simple as changing the bush on an early Mini. With Lotus I should've known better!
