Hi I need to replace my front wheel bearing on my Lotus Elan S2 1965.. Can I use SFK? Are they good enough? Or another brand?
Thanks,
Lou

SKF (not SFK) are a very well regarded Swedish bearing manufacturer.
Unfortunately these days there are all sorts of counterfeits in circulation, but if you can find genuine SKF bearings, they will be a good choice for your wheel bearings.

SKF is good if they make them for your car. My former employer. The originals are Timken, they sell the outer races separate from the roller cage and inner race. Any of the usual Lotus suppliers should have them.
There is no cure for Lotus, only treatment.

Thanks for the info. Does anyone know the parts number for SKF front inner and outer, bearing and cap? They have it on Rock Auto but I do not know if I should trust them? Also they are super cheap there are they real?

Lots of information on here https://www.gglotus.org/ggpart/elanxref.htm#hubs
Note that bolt-on and knock-on hubs use different bearings.

SKF are one of, if not THE best manufacturer of automotive bearings in Europe nowadays, Very high quality.
What you don't want are the Chinese and Indian equivalents.

You can authenticate you have got real SKF bearings and not clones via the following. Lot of pirate counterfeit bearings out there especially in popular sizes
