Rear Strut replacement suggestion

Greetings,
It seems the right rear strut is kaput and I need a new set. I have those adjustable ones in height. Must be the standard one, I think? Anybody as a good experience with some specific model, brand, supplier? I need something stiff, but that can also handle some bad roads. I have an elan s3 coupe 1966.
thanks to all!

I've had the Koni adjustable strut inserts on the rear in two S3's I've had, and find them excellent. Adjustable from the top (under the grommet in the rear parcel shelf), Available from Tony Thompson racing in the UK, but maybe you have an outlet over there ? If you have the modded (adjustable for height) strut casings already,, the Koni's slip inside once the old insert is removed.
