Wondering if anyone can help?

Im just fitting my front and rear pads.

The fitting kit from Kelsport came with these spring clips. Can't see how they would fit, and having reviewed photos of other +2's, I've not seen them fitted.

Any thoughts?

Looking closely at your photo it looks like the supplied clip is too long. You are trying to fit it in the correct place but it won't fit because it is too long. Looks like Kelsport screwed up.

Fit the retaining pins, spring fit under the pins it runs top to bottom hook goes over backplate of pads.

They are 'anti rattle' springs, the brakes will work fine without them - but will probably rattle when you go over a bump. As lotusfan mentions, they appear to be too big.
