Bump stops

PostPost by: dlb123 » Mon Jul 13, 2020 5:18 pm

Hi there.

Trying to refit my rear springs, and I've forgotten which way around the bump stops go.

A (small hole up)

B (large hole up)

Thanks for any input.

I don't think my S3 coupe has ever had bumpstops fitted, I wonder if they might stop the slight contact I get between the driver side rear tyre & the modified Arch.

Where did you get yours they look new? Please.

They are actually fairly old. I pulled them off the car. But I seem to remember Kelvedon lotus having some?

Thanks for the help as ever

All the usual suspects carry them - reckoned tone an essential element of the overall suspension system when approaching full bump.
