A Arm Metalastic Bushes - Quick And Easy Removal..

As you will probably know, the original Metalastic bushes that have been in the A arms for decades can be sods to remove, but with a press fixture and a couple of simple pressing mandrels, the job can be done in just a few minutes.

Yes, screw press type extractors will also work...but much less effort with mandrels and a press though...just a few minutes work, mandrels cost was zero... made from scrap steel...and about 30mins on the lathe, good that you did what you did.

I used two old sockets and my 5 inch Record vice-works like a charm!
