Track rod end thread

PostPost by: 69S4 » Mon May 07, 2018 11:58 am

Anyone know what the thread pitch is for the track rod ends - trying to adjust toe in. As far as I know it's the original rack and track rods as fitted by Lotus back in 69.

They are 1/2" UNF, which has a pitch of .050".

It?s a rolled thread therefore the diameter is larger than the bar on which it?s formed, you cannot increase the thread length with a die.
FWIW.

Not trying to do anything like that. Just adjusting the toe and needed to know how much one turn of the track rod would extend / contract the arm by.
