What's the latest thinking on this subject (considering the qualities of modern moly / lithium greases)?
For many years now I've been using a "home brew" mixture of 2/3rds moly / lithium grease to 1/3rd EP 80 oil once a year, & the wear rate seems to be zero, so this is doing the job for sure. However, I am very tempted to change to just using moly / lithium grease, which would certainly be easier & more convenient.
Thoughts?

It would be interesting to try and discover it it makes any difference to the steering feel. If none, presumably, the lubrication is adequate.
I imagine that grease lubrication may only become a problem in cold weather when if becomes too viscous. If you do not plan to drive in the snow you will probably be fine!
