26R Wheel dimensions

PostPost by: Davidb » Tue Jan 31, 2017 3:15 am

I am in the process of adapting a set of Revolution wheels to 26R knock-on hubs but I need dimensions. Could somebody with these wheels do some measuring and maybe photographing for me?
I need to know the length of the centre hole (distance from front face to rear face), the diameter of the hole at both ends and if there is a taper on the inside lip.
If I could have photos of the inside of the wheel centre-from both sides-that would be very helpful.

Many thanks, David b

Hi David

Sounds like an interesting solution - I have a set of 6x13 revolutions which I'd like to adapt for either KO or bolt on 26R hubs - mine have an adaptor plate at the rear - is it the plate you are making to fit? If so I'd like some too!!!

Thanks

David

Hi David, No I am not using a plate. I am fitting the Revolution wheels to "proper" four pin 26R hubs so I need the 26R wheel centre dimensions as above.

I'd be happy to help, but 900 miles from Ohio home and the wheels. Perhaps I can get my son to take some photos for you. PM your email to me and I'll try.

You do know the pins are on a 4in pin circle diameter?

Roger, you have a pm.

The holes in the Revolution wheels are on a 3.75 pcd so what I am doing is re-drilling the hubs with the 3.75 holes at 90 degrees to the 4" holes so that the car can be fitted with either type of wheel.

I would like to get the dimensions of the inside of the 26R wheel centre so that I don't miss a subtle difference.
