Norgren Headlight Vacuum Valve

PostPost by: William2 » Mon Nov 28, 2016 6:19 pm

I have a Norgren brass vacuum one way valve fitted to my inlet manifold for the headlight operation Can anyone confirm which way round it goes? It has a symbol on it with an arrow one end and a ball and spring drawing attached to it.

The non-return valve should be oriented so that flow is allowed into the inlet manifold and not out. The idea is to evacuate the chamber in the front chassis cross member but not to allow any air/fuel mixture to go from the engine into the cross member.
