Hoses?

I'm sure it will become obvious as I do reassembly but for now can someone let me know where the brake hoses go? Short or long front or back?? [S1]

Oh Oh... I knew that answer when I replaced mine, but I've forgettten.

I suspect the long ones go front as they have to cope with the steering rotation.

Here's my topic from when I fitted mine, last.

Aha rigid brake pipe sizes were discussed here:

Now did we ever discuss the length of the flexible pipes.

Not that big a deal....I'm just plumbing things up before attaching suspention. Getting brake lines situated and all. it can wait but I figured it an easy query.....sooo!

BTW Bill, that looks like an elegant solution to holding those lines. I'm fitting old stock "Goodridge" braided stainless and, though a tight fit, I don't think the diameter at the hex is as large. Am kinda wishing I had gone to the dual Datsun master...especially since the hand brake is so hard to get to and probably not as effective as the other British cars I'm familiar with. At least it hasn't a very big pad bearing area.
