Knock on wheels

Are the 10spoke alloys fitted to my 73 elan+2 meant to be painted silver and black or is the silver bit meant to be polished alloy

Polished alloy. The re-manufactured wheels that were available a few years ago were also clear coated over the top but looks like it will start to peel soon on mine, when I guess I will have to strip the clear coat off. Best to polish and maintain.

Tim, aren't they the Europa ones? - They're bolt on and the holes look bigger than the Plus 2 ones...

I thought that,put spare wheel in for powder coating,it was porous and primer just bubbled up, will have to fill it and sand down,the cunning plan was to get nice chrome finish then possibly spray black on top?, hope other 4 wheels are in better condition, winter indoor work
