Steering wheels

Hi
Can anyone advise as to whether my Elan Plus 2 should have a semi dished or flat steering wheel. When I bought the car it came with what I think may be a Mountney semi dished wheel and I feel that a flat wheel would offer a more comfortable driving position. The relationship of the steering wheel to foot pedals does not feel comfortable. I have been looking at the Mountney product range and they do not seem to offer a flat wheel. Moto Lita do, but when the cost of the boss is added they seem quite expensive. Would be grateful for some advice.
Regards

I thought
Dished......
3 spokes
Each spoke drilled with 4 holes
Rim finished in a sort of foam padded plastic......
15" diameter
One version has brushed Ali spokes
Next has brushed Ali spokesman but with the lower vertical spoke with Chapman signature
Final wheel is like the first but with black spokes - no signature

There was a good article on steering wheels in the Club Lotus magazine. I think it was the most recent edition.
