Suspension Travel

Looking at the Elan workshop manual and the figures for the shock absorber travel and the diagrams of the suspension setup, I reckon that the figures translate into approx 3.5 inches travel for the front suspension, and approx 6 inchs at the rear of the small Elan. Does anyone have an 'official' figure and/or do my figures seem accurate?
