Anti roll/sway bar close to cross brace

PostPost by: miked » Fri Jul 20, 2012 4:51 pm

Can anyone shed any light here. I noticed that both drop links on the anti roll bar have been touching the chassis cross brace. There are wear marks on the outer rear faces of the drop links. It is a Lotus Chassis. Anybody else had this? Perhaps a rogue anti roll bar? Anybody else had to modify the drop links to give clearance. Mike :)

I think this is a standard "feature". My +2S shows this interference wear pattern as well.

Media blasted and painted my cross brace today. Same wear pattern as you describe.

There are more than a few tight places on the +2. Spring perches and rear wishbone to tire/wheel clearances to name two more.
