control arm bushings

PostPost by: rdssdi » Wed Jun 10, 2009 10:12 pm

I am looking for a company that can supply rubber control arm bushings.

I am looking for a cylindrical bushing with a bonded metal tube at the center only. The tube ID is .370 for a 3/8" bolt OD 1/2") and the outside cylinder diameter (rubber) is .925 (or close) and the length of tube and rubber 1.5". Tube can be a few thousands proud of end of rubber.
The "eyelet" portion of the tubular control arm that accepts the rubber bushing has an ID of .80".
thanks

Bob

Sounds a lot like a Triumph (Herald/Spit etc) front wishbone bush :) No, I haven't measured them but you might be lucky :)

Yes they are the same as Triumph GT-6 / spitfire but of a slightly larger diameter.
