My car has 165/50 r13 on at mo,rears will need changeing soon,what fits,work well and are available,prefer british..i include dunlop in this...

Rocket, assume that 165/50 R13 is a typo and you are talking 165/80R13, or the modern equivalent to the original fitment. There was a thread on this two weeks ago with plenty of data.

165/70s are good. Approx. same diameter as the 155/80.

Freddy, minor point but original fitment for plus 2 was 165 R13s or 165/82R13 or nearly equivalent modern size 165/80 R13 . Ie a bigger tyre than the Sprint.
