Bolt on wheel lug nut torque specs

The car’s always had standard steel wheels with no spacers…at least since picking it up in ‘78, waiting to get restored until 2003, and then ever since

The studs are the same length as the new ones I got from Dave Bean, though there is a single shorter one on one of the fronts.

A ball joint press tool (U shaped one) as mentioned will be the next thing I try, carefully.

A plate of suitable thickness secured on the remaining 3 studs, then tightened pressing the broken stub. Then a light tap with a hammer whilst loaded.

C clamp with a socket around the stud head. You'll need a clamp without a swivel pad though.
