Interestingly Summit Racing seems to carry bearings for the Elan from both SKF and Timken. Might be worth a look.

Bumping this back as I finally am starting to make some progress. I used some paint remover to get the half-crusty paint off the dust shields. My question is related to this yellow-ish color. Is this the original primer? I noticed some on the hub also.

If you prefer you can buy Stainless Dust Shields from Rimmer Bros, Triumph Part 2132323SS £60 for the Pair for type 16 Caliper or +2 Elan
