Handbrake return springs

Does anyone know a generic replacement?

One of the usual suppliers want something like £10 a pop for something wich looks like a standard spring and I just cant bring myself to spend that!

....these are the stubby springs with the hooked ends BTW, not the later spring modification to the handbrake pad adjusters
