Aeon Rubbers (again!)

The Aeon rubbers have a small hole and a larger hole. Does it matter which way round they go?
They fit neatly with the small hole above the damper top shoulder. However this would mean that the top plate would not be in direct contact.
Therefore the rubber has to be forced down the damper rod so the small hole is stretched to "fit"? I.E. the whole thing could slide up and down the rod?
Thanks

I doubt it makes the slightest difference to be honest.
Other than the writing being upside down! Just thought I'd ask.
BTW close examination of one of the hubs indicated a crack developing at one of the caliper attachments.
I took it here and they did a good solid job. Makes a change! (I ask for strong not pretty!)

I'd also mount to the top of the strut as it should stay in the same position relative to the strut shaft. So no risk of wear to the inner holes and therefore less risk of creating dust near the seals on the shock.
That said I suspect none of this really has a significant impact and is mostly theoretical....

Looks like it's at the top of the strut. Have you got the +2 spacer pieces?
