A sign that your project is taking way too long...

While double checking my rolling chassis in prep to drop the body back on, I found this on both sides of the rack.

I purchased these about six years back about the same time as the rack boots, ball joints and trunion rebuild kits. Those are all still perfect.

Those, and the fifteen year old tires that haven't rolled more than 50 yards or so will need to be replaced. I've got to get this thing finished. :oops:

Replacement rubber parts are rubbish. . I had exactly the same on UJ boots and ball joints on my TVR... I didn't even buy cheap! Only lasted a year....
No restoration takes too long !

I've been told you can buy just replacement rubber boots. I need to buy them for both my current resto projects.
