Protecting newly nickel plated wishbones / anodised calipers

They do look nice and shiny when just done!
I thought wax for the wishbones and clear POR15 for the gold anodised rear calipers.
Although I like POR15 I suspect it would ruin the appearance of the wishbones.
What's the consensus, please?

I'd be concerned about POR15 bonding as it needs a surface with a good key to bond. New metal needs special treatment to get it to bond, so not sure it will bond well with either surface.

I may have misled you through my wording.
They are standard rear calipers which have been refurbished by classicar automotive. They came back with a gold appearance which I assume is a coating produced by electrolysis.
There are some alloy rear calipers around. I think Dave Hughes made some a while back but sold them all.

Boeshield is a great protectant of bare metal parts. Used in the Concours 'world'.

Not permanent and needs to be applied every several months or so.
