Brake Rebuilding

Good Evening, couple of quick questions;

1. Can someone recommend is a good High temperature caliper primer and paint? I have a tried a few in the past and they have never been much cop, so can anyone recommend?

2. I intend to split my front and rear calipers to rebuild them, what company sells the O rings between the 2 halves?

I got my cross gallery seals from Moss, but only the U.S. company sells them. Service when I phoned was great, but of course postage was high to the UK.

They sell all the bit's (Including handbrake parts), they can even do the rebuild for you inc plating etc. Great place to deal with as two of the guys are ex Chris Neil tech's and really do know there Lotus's.

They do a nice Servo rebuild too

IIRC I ordered the one for a TR2a (it uses a P14, but the P16 uses the same seal). Their website now doesn't break out the TR2, but features 2 for TR3s, and the part number for the early one sounds familiar. I would just call them.

I gave Classic brake a call and they said they can't supply the caliper sealing rings and gave me the details for another company, who then said they can't supply them either.

But the good folks over at Paul Mattys can!

I too go the zinc plated way (first sandblasted - take care to protect all the bores), seals and pistons purchased from sue miller.
I take the old gallery seals because i couldn't find new one and the old looks like new...
