Stromberg Issue

I have a 69 Elan S4 on Strombergs.

I seem to have a petrol evaporation issue, as when the engine temperature gets hot 90- 100) the car cuts out.

Any suggestions?

How are they mounted? Grab and post some pictures if in doubt, but hard-mounted carbs (ie., without adaptor plate or with old, hardened o-rings and cinched down tight rather flex fit with Thackeray washers) can yield that result due to combination of heat transfer and vibration (frothing).
