Stromberg enricher shaft thread size

When I was taking everything apart a few weeks ago, the nut on this shaft was apparently very loose and it fell off and promptly went through a dimensional portal to bugger knows where.

Nothing amongst the numerous loose nuts in my bins of random fasteners fits it. Does anybody know the thread size?

I measured it with my tap and die set as an m7x1

Thanks Henry, that sounds plausible. For a little while there I was beginning to wonder if it was one of those 'unabomber' fasteners!
