Hello all
Can anyone supply me with or put a post on with a photograph of the correct S1-2 Elan petrol tank filler neck , mine came with the later S3-4-Sprint lockable type so I don't know what is correct .
Mike Ostrov is being extremely helpful in trying to locate me one in America as I have had no response with my enquiries on this side of the water,
Much appreciated again

Hello Roy
Thanks for posting the photo of the S2 Elan petrol filler neck
I'm being educated by Mike Ostrov and Mazzini as I don't have an example of an S1 filler neck mine came with an S3-4 lockable cap and neck which I knew couldn't be right hence my request for a photo of the correct item.
I was not aware that the filler necks and caps were different for the S1 and S2 so I've learned something.
Mike and Mazzini have sent photo's of possible Elite / S1 petrol filler necks ie does the Elite neck sit parallel and is the S1 filler neck cut and welded at an angle as per the photo of your S2 filler neck ?

No problem with the photo, pleased to be of assistance.
As for the S1, I would assume that the same angle is incorporated but I don't know for sure.
