Intake and discharge valve - accelerator circuit

Apologies for being a bit off topic, but setting up a pre-crossflow engine with similar specs to a Cosworth Lotus Super Seven S2.

I have the relevant jet sizes etc for the Weber 40 DCOEs with 32mm chokes, but cannot find any mention of what this valve size should be.

I know it is important as it changed my Elan's behavior markedly when I got it right.

Anyone have any idea what it might be please .... thanks ... Ed

Best to read up on the subject, on an Elan fitted with 18?s the relevant parts are: - Pump Jet 0.40 Intake valve with Exhaust 0.50 Pump Stroke Length 10mm

Thanks Craven ... reckon that would be pretty close as Seven has 40 pumps and 10mm stroke too. Will try that to start with. Regards ... Ed
