Does anyone have any suggestion of a starting point for the Slow Speed Air Screw on the Right side of the CD175 Carbs. They were fully removed when I obtained the car and I need an idea of approx. how far the should be Screwed In or Out as a starting point.
Thanks
Thanks

The short answer is all the way in (and lightly seated). It's not supposed to work as an idle mixture screw in the way it does in many motorcycle carbs but to provide some sort of "offset" when you're running in a new engine. The Lotus manual says "minor" adjustments can be made with them but I've never got close enough with mine to get to the minor adjustments stage.
