found the throttles had a bit of tension on them from the cable preventing a good fast start . goes like Jack the Bear now --[thats quick for those who don't know Jack ]-- --ed
dont close your eyes --you will miss the crash

When I had some work done on my S3, the mechanic, trying to be helpful I guess, tywrapped the throttle cable down. I found the response very sluggish, and it was particularly reluctant to return to idle. As soon as I cut the tywrap and freed the cable - no more drag - magic!
Mechanical Engineer, happily retired!
