Engine mounts with webers

PostPost by: triumphelan » Tue Nov 01, 2005 2:42 pm

I think I have the engine mounts upside down ,if thats posible?.I have the mounts on the correct side ,semi circle cutouts on exhaust side.Should the top hole that bolts the the chassie be above the holes that bolt to the engine, should the "U" channel that the rubber sits in be like a "U" or an upside down"U"

Does that mean in a lotus chassis when the rubber perishes the engine sits on the mountings?-and in a spyder chassis when the same happens the engine is used as an anchor?
