Dear all

Am about to start tuning again and would like to get opinions re.what is the best AFR to aim for (for those of you with lambda sensors fitted) for a smooth tickover....suspecting richer than 14.7.....

Many thanks

Generally the Twinc likes it a bit richer than the "normal" 14.7

What you really want to check is the AFR across the rev range and different loads, a wide band lambda sensor is handy here. I think you are saying you do not have one of these? If so how are you going to measure the AFR at tickover?

Steve
Yes,have a wideband sensor, and am around 13.5 at the moment, just wanted to see what others are idling at...

P.S. even with my "toy" battery charger on "fast charge" I can only idle for half an hour at most before the battery voltage drops low enough for the EFI and lambda sensor to misbehave/switch off..
