Compatibility of Airboxes?

I have just placed a wanted for a S2 carb backplate & airbox (rounded type).
However, can anyone tell me for certain if the later square style will fit or would it foul the footwell/bodywork somewhere?

Hi,

I have a Series 1 with a later (square-type) backplate and box. It fits without fouling provided you have the engine mount on the inlet side that raises the engine slightly.

Thanks Paddy,

I have an early Spyder chassis that may make clearances slightly different again, I may have to bite the bullet, or I could just keep the KNs. A bit noisy though!
