Help with throttle linkage

Hi all.
I keep chasing that moment when I can drive my '72 +2S130 up and down the driveway with brakes, throttle, clutch working and a steering wheel. Sounds silly but it's been a long time and many many hours restoration in the garage.
Anyway. I've got a new throttle cable, can screw one end into the pedal box, but can't find the attachment that joins it onto the throttle lever on the Dellortos. I'm probably being really dumb, but if anyone could describe how it attaches / provide a photo, that would be much appreciated. I think there's a part missing that I can't find in the manuals at all.
Thanks in advance.
Sean.

Oh, the cable comes in from the top and attaches to the linkage. Wow. I must have looked at loads of engine bays over the years and that didn't register.
Thanks for the link.
I don't have the cylinder that fits into the lever so will start to look for one now - it may be in the bottom of one of the boxes in the loft but I'll probably need to buy one.
All the best.

Sean
Is this what you are after.
I lost my connector so machined one up (then found the original).
The right hand one in picture is original. My one has a head on it making asembly much easier.
I have a spare one if you get stuck

Thanks for the pic. Again I'm amazed by the efforts that people will go to on this forum. It looks like I should be able to make one up from the unthreaded shaft of a bolt if I can find the right diameter donor somewhere in the pile. Thanks for the offer of your spare. I may take you up on that if I fail to find an alternative.
All the best.

Hi Sean,
Vehicle Wiring Products sell an almost identical part. The only modification you need to make is to saw/file/cut the slot for the cable to pass thorugh, otherwise its identical. The part number is W81630 @ ?0.82 each. They can supply parts to make up all sorts of control cables.
