My plus 2 fuel gauge will read no lower than a quarter full, red warning light comes on just before quarter mark. When i fill tank at this point i can only squeeze in about 7 gallons,is my tank, which i believe is standard and stated in manual as 13 gallon capacity, therefore holding 6 gallons before i fill it at a quarter full?

Rocket,
The +2 has a few quirks in this area. The gauges are not always accurate - try running it right to empty (take a spare can) and this should show whether your fuel tank sender and/or gauge is faulty.
As to filling, the tank filler is halfway down the tank and the vents at the top of the tank are there to allow air to escape so the tank can be filled. They can get blocked or collapse so that the air can't escape and the tank only half fills......and you need to take the headlining/rear screen out to sort it properly.
