Fuel tank venting

PostPost by: mjreith » Fri Jun 23, 2006 3:15 pm

Hi, Can someone please point me in the right direction. I am trying to establish how my Elan S4 fuel tank is vented. I have identified the fuel feed pipe exiting from the top right hand side of the tank but cannot see how the tank is vented.

Thanks Mike

Mike,
If it is a U.K. spec car it is vented through the filler cap, flip it open and you will see a small vent hole on the underside, if its an export car others should be able to help, suggest you put a location on your profile, helps with to identify the cars.

mjreith,

Whereabouts are you in God's country. I'm in Linlithgow.
