fwiw I use a modified weber banjo bolt to check fuel pressure - I only do that with the bonnet opened, but with the engine running this can still point to some issues (e.g. behavior at high revs - in my case fuel starvation when approaching the redline). Easy enough to install and take out in a few minutes.

Looks like an interesting soln.
I may try this once I get the fuel line and carbs back together.
