After investing hours in research and consulting many experts, we’re here with the top advantages of learning sewing at a young age.
Sewing Teaches Them Math
Most children don’t like math but they have to learn it at any cost. Sewing is a great way to make them practice and understand it by measuring the fabric, determining how much they need for the project, and then cutting it into adequate pieces.
Sewing Teaches Them How to Mend Their Clothes
After learning sewing basics, children can mend a ripped seam, sew a button, and perform many other tasks. It develops a “fix-it” instead of a “buy new” attitude in them. Like most parents, you will not have to worry whenever their dresses need any fixes. When they grow up, they will be able to sew their own new dresses, and maybe even turn this hobby into a profession.
Sewing Teaches Them How to Plan
Before children start sewing something, they need to plan what they should make first. Then they must figure out which sewing notions they need for that project. You can guide them in the beginning, but let them choose everything on their own and avoid giving them suggestions every time. Ask them some questions before each project and give them the right answers if they’re wrong. Soon, your child will learn how to plan sewing activities and how to use these organizing skills in their daily life.

Sewing Nourishes Creativity in Children
Sew is an art and it greatly nourishes creativity in children. So this skill can help your kids use their vast imagination and create unique stuff of their choice. It is highly advisable to let them do what they want and you’ll be surprised to see the results.
Sewing Enhances Eye-Hand Coordination in Children
Sewing is a great way to develop eye-hand coordination in children. They have to carefully look through the tiny needle’s eye and pass the thread with a skilled hand. Not only does hand-sewing require perfect eye-hand coordination, but also needs to carefully monitor and move the fabric while working on the sewing machine.
Sewing Unlocks Children's Potential
Like DIY adults, sewing empowers children and enables them to create homemade products, like skirts, scrunchies, etc. They can sell these items to make some extra pocket money or raise funds for their school project.

Have you mounted the Facet pump near the tank or in the engine compartment? I thought that all facet pumps were "pushers", not "pullers".
I've had a Facet pump in the boot for many years, & the Filter King is alongside it. Never been a problem
