fuel pump repair

I was in the process of servicing my fuel pump but unfortunately the black plastic locking mechanism that holds the diaphragm in place (when turned) has disintegrated.
Anyone know if these are replaceable or is the only option a new pump.
The pump is an AcDelco 70-695 (XP0695L8) and the part isn't in any of the service kits I've seen.
Cheers, Andy

Ok,
With the car having stood in the garage for the last 25 years I've now realised that what I thought was disintegrated plastic holding the diaphragm rod in place was just the oil seal hardened to such an extent that it broke up in pieces. Pretty sure I can get this with a service kit.
