air intake ducting source

Does anyone have a good US source for air ducting from carb box to air cleaner? I believe it's 4.5 inches. I'm sure the Lotus aftermarket vendors have it, but I'm wondering if anyone found a lower-cost solution. I was surprised that 4.5 inch ducting seems unavailable on Amazon or ebay.
Thanks, Joe

Hi Joe
See here:https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=cold%20air%20intake%20hoses&rt=nc&LH_PrefLoc=2&_trksid=p2045573.m1684
Something must go! Mine is 76 mm inside.

Urs,
Unfortunately that link on Ebay Switzerland takes me to a page on Ebay UK. Don't know how to isolate it to Ebay.Ch only. Somebody must/should/might know how to force it to see the Swiss page???

Over here the usual suspects sell a flexible metal pipe which fits and works ok.
Presumably they buy an industrial pipe and chop it into short lengths with a good profit margin.
I imagine something similar is available local to you.
I liked the old 'foil and cardboard' but it got trashed in a crash so took the readily available alternative.
You may find RV repair shops carry suitable sized ducting for hot air heating systems or at least point you in right direction if diameter required is larger than they use.

R.D. Enterprises lists the clamps for the duct (didn't see any ducting) as 3-1/2". Both eBay and McMaster Carr have 3-1/2" ducting. Not inexpensive in either case.

I bought some 3.5" flex hose with the wire spiral from a local industrial supplier. Was about A$50 delivered and fits great. The cost the usual suppliers were asking didn't make sense to me, especially once postage down under was included. The proper paper covered ally is available if you look hard enough.

I bought mine from Hoerr Racing Products. Many options, including silicone.

I bought this - https://www.ebay.com/itm/LOTUS-ELAN-1963-73-AIR-INLET-FLEX-HOSE-AIR-FILTER-HOUSING-TO-AIRBOX-NEW/133336414395?hash=item1f0b7838bb:g:FUMAAOSwyQtV1JvM
It's the correct 3.5" ID - Very happy!

Resurrecting this thread...
I am trying to sort Airbox trunking for my +2 with standard airbox here in the UK. I would prefer to use the original PAP type diesel ducting but everyone on ebay seems to just sell it in a 1metre lengths, mainly from China.
Is 1metre long enough for a +2?.....My guessswork seems to suggest that 1metre isn't quite long enough?
Knowledge of a source in the UK would be good?
Thanks,
Alan
