How important is the fuel pump oil seal grommet as mine appears to be torn at the top and I believe they are difficult to obtain?

You just get a relatively small oil leak out the vent hole in the bottom of the pump. Depends on how many other oil leaks you have as to whether that is important

I refurbished a glass bowl ac pump just a few weeks ago, using a kit from this link:

This kit contains the oil seal that stops the vent hole leaking.

The E93A fuel pump is the same as the one on the Elan and +2 I believe.
