leak from choke retaining screw

Just found out where the petrol on the underside of one of the carbs is from. They are 45dcoes and the fuel is from one of the choke retaining screws. Not investigated much further yet but any ideas why this is happening and any possible solution.

I think I have found the reason for the leak. I have a TTR airbox and the thickened flange on the carb intake trumpets are recessed into the backplate, this prevents the fixing tabs from pressing against the flange and pushing the trumpet up to the venturi. 2 of the trumpets are clamped firmly in the correct position but 2 are looser and can move out 3-4 mm leaving a gap to the venturi. When I removed the loose trumpets there was petrol between the carb body and the trumpets. Problem is how to clamp the trumpets tightly up to the venturis when the flange is recessed
