Dellorto Carbs

I have a car with S.U. carbs, and you have to fill the top with thin oil so the dampers can work.
Do you have to put oil in Dellortos, I see there is no air hole, so I'm not sure.

Are you thinking perhaps of Stromberg carburettors?

In which case yes, the dashpot needs to contain a certain quantity and grade of o?l.

No, definitely Delorto's, but I also have an MG with SU's, and they do need oil in the dashpot.
Thanks

Dellortos are not constant depression carbs with sliding air valves, and therefore dont have dampers that need oil.
