I believe the GT 40 type is very similar although I think the screw holes may be slightly in the wrong place.

thank you for your reply, I did not know about this repro version: I'll keep that in mind in case I can't find an original (which can be fastened near the windshield without modification on an elan)

I’m in the USA so shipping is a consideration.
thank you for your reply : I used to get parts from the USA often, but with the cancellation of international surface shipping (and duties etc. which sadly also apply to UK sources now) this has become less of an option.
If you would be considering packing and going to the post office I suppose USPS would be one of the most affordable options for such a light item and relatively small: please let me know what price you had in mind (via private message if you prefer) and I will look into the cost of shipping to figure out the bottomline (how you would like to get paid etc... ), in case I do not get any offer from this side of the atlantic. In any case, no rush on my side...
with my sincere salutations,
Nic

Thank you, that appears quite reasonable indeed - if you whish we may at your convenience go further via PM (your details for payment etc...)

I‘ve seen one in the top of the shelves of Brammer Lotus Parts near Cologne, Germany. He has Internet service and you can call him as well. He bought a lot of surplus Lotus stuff in the old days. Still would ask if it’s the correct Lotus part.

ok thank you I'll check, I've purchased parts from them in the past (quite broad type of parts and price range iirc)...
--- edit
Rainer Brammer replied rather quickly - though he does not has that part for sale unfortunately...
