I am looking for a good Plus 2 with provenance and history in the US. I prefer RHD. East coast / Mid Atlantic region would be best. Please advise with photos and location via the forum private message system.

If you would consider a RHD Plus2 in UK there is a nice one that's just been recommissioned.

The car is being sold on behalf of the owner by the guy who did work on the car for him.

I don't think the seller / agent would organise the shipping but I think they could work with you on it. The guy working on behalf of the seller is easy to deal with and his own business revolves around Elans etc.

This plus2s was supplied by Bell and Colvill as LMG 823K, first reg 10/5/1972.
Carried a private reg WBC 250 at one time hence EOG 227K.
I acquired the car in 2011 and ran it for a few years eventually deciding to rebuild it.
I bought a Spyder spaceframe chassis.
Over the years the chassis was rebuilt including all the brakes.
Tony Thompson Racing supplied the front springs and shockers and the rear shockers and drive shafts.
The engine was rebuilt by a local twin cam specialist having whatever it needed ìncluding new crank bearings, power max pistons, new ring gear and crank pulley.
The head was reconditioned including new valve guides and seats.
Shaun did the cabs and the distributor was reconditioned and converted to electronic ignition by DISTRIBUTOR DOCTOR.
Gearbox was checked over and rebuilt with new bearings and seals.
All the interior was refurbished and the seats with new foam cushions.
New headlining.
Spyder electric headlamp lift.
New dashboard and clocks all reconditioned hence change of mileage on April 2022 MOT
Body repaired and painted by SMS ltd.
