2nd gear for later Elan transmission

Looking for a new, or good used, 2nd gear for the later snap-ring mainshaft Elan transmission. 28 teeth, 37mm bore ID. Might consider a complete transmission if I can't find just the gear. Anybody have any good sources? All the usual sources (RD, DB, Kelvedon, etc.) do not have it.

If it has a 4 speed gearbox all the parts are Ford and the same as those used in Ford UK models of the same era. The following supplier in the UK is a good source of these kinds of parts:

Thank you 2cams70. Looks like a great source and he does seem to have one - but his site says they do not ship to the US. I have not run across that before so I will have to see if there are alternative shipping methods.

I use a UK freight forwarder when faced with this situation. They will give you a UK address to ship to and organise shipping from there to your address. I use forward2me but there's probably others that provide the service. I find the shipping cost reasonable for the service they offer and parts arrive quite quickly.

I think maybe he just doesn't like the USA / Canada.
His site says:

Maybe he has had problems getting paid from USA? I don't know. His site is closed until July due to illness so I will attempt to contact him then.

Thanks for your help. Maybe I should move to Australia again? I lived in Melbourne for a couple years several decades ago and have very pleasant memories of it. Nice people.
