wanted: Twin cam block 701M

Looking to build a twin cam with spare parts.
I need a good block. Prefer 701M in unabused condition. Sonic tested for cylinder wall thickness and 7.8-7.9" deck height. US sellers only. What have you got?

I've got a spare block that came from a parted out Elan. I have not had it measured but visually it looks pretty good. If you are within driving distance of North San Diego county, drive down and look it over personally. I'm in Fallbrook, Ca

It is a M701? Bored? Deck height?

I don't have much history on the block. It came included as spare parts when I bought a Europa TC from the seller. All he had left from his wrecked Elan was the block and the head. What I can do is to send you photos of the block and let you decide if you want to proceed on. I don't have the equipment to measure deck height and cylinder bore which means I'll have to have a machine shop to the job .I'll take the photos tomorrow.
