Timing case bolts

I realise that the front oil seal is very capable of leaking, but what about the timing case bolts? I have made a boss to centralise the cover so hopefully that will go some way to avoiding crankshaft leaks, but I’m wondering if anyone has ever used seloc or copper crush washers to stop oil leaks from the bolt holes?
Or am I inventing a problem that doesn’t exist?
Cheers

Further to the above, front oil seal? I have read that you have tried many and prefer the wide red version. I wonder what you think of the narrower double seal versions of this size of seal? The first seal for dirt and the second for oil.
Have you tried these, seems a good idea in theory but how do they work out later?

You need the most flexible seal possible I believe. The nose of the crank vibrates and the alloy cover moves around and the seal needs to accomodate that as best it can. The original red seal appears to be the best from that criteria from all the seals I have looked at and tried over the years.
